The clock reads 2:15 am.

A steady stream of soundscapes pulses from one side of my headphones to the other - transporting my teenage mind to distant galaxies of thought. My pen captures, in both word and art, the images and concepts inspired by the hypnotic rhythms and textures being fed to my brain.

I was 'tuned to the synthesis of Diaspar' ... a late night 'head music' radio show that introduced me to such trance and electronic composers as Vangelis, Clause Schultze, Jean Michele Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Fripp and Eno, Tomita, and early Pink Floyd.

These late night radio excursions allowed space for creative writing, poetry, and 'surrealistic doodles'. But more than that, they became a form of meditation.

I invite you to travel these soundscapes with me...
